Wishsnap helps families save gift ideas and quietly coordinate who buys what. We keep only what we need to do that, and we never sell your information.
What we keep
- Your name, relation and the email or phone number you sign in with.
- The wishes, photos, links, notes and thank you videos your family adds.
- Which family lists you belong to and your notification choices.
Who sees it
Only the members of your family see your family's lists. A person on a list never sees their own wishes, and only the person who called dibs sees who it was. Photos and videos are stored privately. Public creator lists are visible to anyone, by choice of the creator.
Texts from Wishsnap
If you give us your phone number, we may text you:
- Sign in codes.
- Family activity, like someone calling dibs on a gift or a new thank you video.
- Replies when you text a photo or a wish to our number.
How often we text varies with how active your family is. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your phone number is never shared with third parties for marketing.
Services we use
We use trusted providers to run Wishsnap, such as hosting, email delivery and text messaging. They only get what they need to do that job.
Your choices
You can change your notification settings on the Family page, leave a family, or ask us to delete your account and data by writing to hello@wishsnaps.com.
